Supporting Our Community: Sitemark Backs “Cycle Away the Stigma”

At Sitemark, we believe that being a responsible business goes far beyond the services we deliver. While our day-to-day work focuses on improving facilities management, we also recognise the importance of giving back, community support, and standing behind causes that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to support Stuart Baker’s “Cycle Away the Stigma” challenge, an inspiring initiative dedicated to raising awareness for men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

A challenge designed to start conversations

In May 2026, Stuart will undertake an extraordinary physical and mental challenge: cycling 1,037 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End, while also summiting the Three Peaks – all within just seven days.

This is no ordinary endurance event. It has been carefully designed to attract attention, spark conversations, and highlight the realities many men face when it comes to mental health. Too often, struggles are hidden behind a brave face, and initiatives like this help break down barriers and encourage people to speak openly, seek support, and look out for one another.

Why men’s mental health matters (community support)

Men’s mental health and suicide prevention remain critical issues in the UK and beyond. Despite growing awareness, stigma still prevents many from talking about how they feel or asking for help when they need it most.

At Sitemark, we work closely with people every day, clients, colleagues, partners, and communities, and we understand how important wellbeing is to long-term success, both personally and professionally. Supporting campaigns that encourage openness, compassion, and understanding aligns closely with our values as a people-focused organisation.

Proud to support LooseHeadz

Sitemark is proud to donate £400 to support Stuart’s challenge, helping to raise funds for LooseHeadz, a charity doing incredible work to tackle stigma and promote mental fitness.

LooseHeadz uses education, conversation, and community-driven initiatives to make mental health support more accessible, particularly within environments where conversations can be difficult to start. We’re proud to play a small part in helping them continue this vital work.

More than a donation – a shared commitment (community support)

For us, this isn’t just about writing a cheque. It’s about showing up, lending our voice, and supporting efforts that aim to create lasting change. Community initiatives like this reflect what we stand for as a business: integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

We’re proud to support challenges that encourage resilience, openness, and connection — values that mirror the way we work with our clients every day.

Giving back is part of who we are

At Sitemark, supporting our community is something we’re committed to — now and in the future. Whether it’s through charitable initiatives, community challenges, or supporting important causes, we believe businesses have a role to play in creating positive change.

We wish Stuart the very best of luck as he prepares for this incredible challenge, and we’ll be cheering him on every mile of the way.
