The solution
Sitemark completed a detailed benchmark review which analysed documentation, policies, procedures. Cleaning standards audits were also conducted at both academic and residential buildings.
The results
Sitemark provides independent best practice benchmarking of facilities management services, helping clients improve standards, reduce costs and ensure best value for money.

Established the University is delivering a Value for Money service to its building users

A SMART action plan was developed to direct the university to areas where efficiency improvements could be made

From productivity calculations and costs per square metre it was concluded that there are adequate weekly hours to achieve the required standards

It was concluded that outsourcing the cleaning service would not be cost effective for the University
