What type of cleaning supervision?

There are typically two types of everyday supervision of a cleaning team: working supervision and non working supervision. Smaller cleaning teams such as those deployed in schools would be supervised by a working supervisor who would have their own allocated cleaning area and a proportion of their hours allocated for supervisory duties.

Non working supervisors would have all of their hours dedicated to supervisory duties, and are normally seen in larger cleaning teams such as those deployed at universities.

In both cases it is important that supervisors receive appropriate training in order that they can carry out supervisory duties effectively.
